We are proud to announce that Healthy Gamer was recently represented at The White House.
Last week, Dr. and Mrs. Kanojia were invited to an event, where they had the privilege of advocating for our community’s needs at the highest level.
The event was hosted by an administration deeply concerned with the mental health issues among the youth. It brought together a group of influential creators to reflect on pivotal issues facing our society.
Among the topics discussed were:
Artificial Intelligence: The potential and risks associated with AI were a focal point of discussion. There is a critical need to navigate this technology responsibly.
The Creator Economy: We explored the dynamics of a labor force increasingly inclined toward self-employment, highlighting the necessity for systems that support and nurture this growing need.
Mental Health as a Labor Issue: Recognizing that mental health challenges are closely tied to labor conditions, we underscored the importance of innovative solutions to help address the ongoing mental health crisis.
Information Integrity: In an era of widespread misinformation, the importance of reliable information and public awareness is paramount.
We are honored to have participated in such an impactful, and necessary conversation.
Despite the complexities and challenges, we remain optimistic that there are pathways to a better future. This opportunity has reinforced our mission to innovate and advocate for the mental health needs of young people.
An advocate for mental health since 2020, the Healthy Gamer mission has since expanded to include the HG Institute and the Healthy Gamer Foundation. The HG Institute helps coaches and clinicians benefit from Dr. Kanojia’s methodology through accredited Continuing Education credits (CE’s) and his Healthy Gamer Coaching certification. The HG Institute is an Approved Education Provider by the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors and the American Psychological Association. The Healthy Gamer Foundation is a registered 501c(3) nonprofit dedicated to research and advocacy for the mental health needs of young people.
